Apoorva studies the learning mechanisms and neural representations that support flexible human behavior in novel settings. He currently studies the learning of control policies using functional neuroimaging and computational modeling.

Moore lab, Neuroscience

Manuel’s overarching research interests are to study the dynamics of neural circuits that mediate sensori-motor integration. He currently works on testing genetically-encoded bioluminescent molecules as a means to monitor and control activity of neural ensembles in vivo.

Victoria
Heimer-McGinn
Burwell Lab, CLPS

Victoria studies the brain's ability to understand spatial context, which is crucial to higher-order cognitive functions like decision-making, perception, navigation and attention. She also has previous experience in molecular neuroscience, particularly building transgenic mouse models.

Kristin

Kaun Lab, Neuroscience

Kristin has a long standing interest in understanding the neural processes of learning and memory. She is currently investigating neural circuitry mechanisms that underlie alcohol memory valence switches.
