The Grimshaw-Gudewicz Lecture Series

2017 Speaker: Dan-El Padilla Peralta, Assistant Professor of Classics, Princeton University, and author of Undocumented: A Dominican Boy's Odyssey from a Homeless Shelter to the Ivy League (Penguin Press)

Description: Inaugurated in Spring 2010, stemming from a generous grant from the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Foundation, whose generosity also helps to subsidize refreshments for the ongoing Graduate Student Symposia series, an eminent scholar in Classical Studies is selected and invited by the graduate students of the Classics Department to lead a seminar for graduate students and present a lecture open to the public on a topic of their choosing relating to the ancient world.
