Classics faculty member, David Buchta, spent his summer involved in research and travel. In July, he traveled to Vancouver for the 17th tri-annual World Sanskrit Conference. August took David to Singapore, where he participated in a workshop on Indian Philosophy.

The Department of Classics at Brown University has been authorized to announce a search for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Roman History and Latin Prose, to begin July 1, 2019. The Department invites applications for this position.
