APPLICANT SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI INTERESTED IN FALL 2023 ADMISSION TO HEALTH CAREERS SCHOOLS
We support your decision to apply to health professions programs and give you detailed guidance about the application process, the timing and strategy for your application. Students and alumni who wish to apply in summer 2022 for fall 2023 admission to health professions schools attend a series of 5 applicant seminars during the academic year leading up to the application. If you have attended in a previous year without applying, please attend again (there is much to know and much to forget in a year).
To give you the best guidance about your evolving application plans, we ask students and alumni to tune in to APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 (offered on 4 dates in the fall, 1 in the spring) before dropping in for Zoom hours with George Vassilev. We also ask that you tune in to APPLICANT SEMINAR #5 (early May). We strongly encourage all potential applicants to participate in the other three seminars as well. All seminars are run through Zoom at present.
APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 covers essential information about the application process and Brown's robust support system. To ensure you are as well prepared as possible we ask students and alumni to tune in on one of the five dates before submitting their HCAD to our office so we can arrange for an interview with a member of the Health Careers Advisory Committee in the spring.
NOTE: All potential applicants submit all necessary information on time in accordance with the Timetable & Deadlines for the 2021- 2022 Application Process (updated in late September 2020).
We look forward to your participation in the seminars.
