APPLICANT SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI INTERESTED IN FALL 2017 ADMISSION TO HEALTH CAREERS SCHOOLS
Students and alumni who wish to apply in summer 2016 for fall 2017 admission to health professions schools attend a series of 5 applicant seminars during the academic year prior to the application. We ask that you attend these in the year prior to your application even if you have attended in a previous year without applying. APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 (4 dates in the fall) and APPLICANT SEMINAR #5 (1 date in early May) are mandatory. We strongly encourage all potential applicants to participate in the other three applicant seminars as well. All students and alumni near campus attend in person. Alumni far from campus attend our concurrent live WebEx broadcasts of these seminars.
Attendance at one of the APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 dates is also required before meeting with George Vassilev to discuss your application. Students or alumni who have not attended will not be able to submit an HCAD or register for an interview with a member of the Health Careers Advisory Committee. Alumni far from campus should contact Health Careers Advising late in the fall to discuss their backgrounds and plans as well as attend the mandatory applicant seminars.
NOTE: All potential applicants must submit all necessary information on time in accordance with the Timetable & Deadlines for the 2016- 2017 Application Process.
