Faculty-Listed Opportunities for 2023 Fall UTRA 

The Fall 2023 SPRINT|UTRA application will be available in UFunds on May 9, 2023, and the application will close on May 24, 2023 at 12:oo PM EST. Find the application by searching for "BrownConnect SPRINT Semester Award Funding," then selecting "UTRA Award 2023".

Eligibility 

For the fall 2023 application cycle, undergraduates who are currently enrolled in spring 2023 and who will be enrolled in fall 2023 semester are eligible to apply. This includes all students regardless of citizenship and current location of study. Students may not be on a leave of absence from Brown either in the semester they are applying nor in the period when they would receive the funding, and graduating seniors and graduate students are not eligible to apply.  Students who have received summer funding from BrownConnect (LINK, UTRA, Signature Programs) in a previous summer will not receive priority consideration in the awards process, but are eligible to apply again. However, graduating seniors who are in their last semester at Brown are not eligible to apply.
