CASA Cuba (Summer): Estimated Program Costs 2017

Study Abroad Program Budget - Summer 2017

Courses:* Healthcare in Cuba: Cultures and History of Medicine and Spanish for Healthcare Workers (2 courses, students can choose to enroll in one or both courses)

Location: Havana, Cuba

Program Length: 4 weeks, June 3 - July 1 

Credit: 4 U.S. semester hours/credits per course (8 U.S. semester hours/credits if both courses are completed)

*courses will be transcripted by Casa de las Americas, affiliated with the University of Havana

Fees billed by the Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad/CASA:

Program Fee** (if you take 1 course): $5800

Program Fee** (if you take 2 courses): $8700

Housing Fee (includes accommodations/daily breakfast and dinner): $1200

Roundtrip Airfare (between Miami, Florida and Havana, Cuba): $600

TOTAL fees billed by CASA (1 course): $7600

TOTAL fees billed by CASA (2 courses): $10,500

**Program Fees include academic fees, orientation/welcome activities, course-related excursions, on-site support services, and emergency travel assistance coverage.
