Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a twelve-step fellowship attended by people who wish to stop drinking. AA meetings are of two basic types—closed and open. Closed meetings are for alcoholics only. Open meetings are suitable for anybody interested in learning more about the AA program of recovery.

This page lists meetings that are close to Brown and that young people in recovery often attend. AA meetings open to the community are flagged with an asterisk (*).
