Katie Byron '15 has been at the center of discussions about campus rape at Brown and on the national scale. In the past year, she has been an organizer of #MoneyTalksAtBrown, a member of the Sexual Assault Task force, and mentioned in a New York Times editorial on safe spaces at institutions of higher learning. But for Katie, these conversations are most powerful when they elevate individual narratives.

Here she talks about her work on the SATF, which has been focused on centering survivor narratives in the Task Force's policy recommendations.
