Meet Our Student Advisory Committee
The Swearer Center is pleased to announce the creation of a Student Advisory Committee (SAC) whose members serve as student ambassadors for the Swearer Center within the campus community. The SAC meets regularly throughout the academic year to advise the Director of the Swearer Center on important issues related to the center's mission and strategy. SAC members serve one-year terms but may serve consecutive years if renominated and reappointed.
"Although I am graduating soon, I am thrilled to be a part of Swearer's new student advisory committee and get a peek into how Swearer will grow and change in the future," says Rachel Black '16. "I am excited to help Swearer lead the charge to embed social justice and social service into the Brown University student culture."
