Engaged Scholarship Grants

One goal of the Engaged Scholarship Initiative (ESI) is to broaden the availability of engaged scholarship courses and concentrations through working with faculty to transform curriculum. Through our engaged grants, we provide resources to support academic departments and faculty as they build or develop their community-engaged offerings. In addition to the financial support, our academic unit engages faculty and departments in developing or modifying community-engaged curricula, courses, advising structures and related programming. We also offer mini-grant opportunities to faculty and individual instructors to support engaged teaching and learning including course support, field trips and guest speakers.
