Laurin is a fourth-year PhD student in French Studies at Brown University. Her research interests include contemporary theater, speculative fiction, and ecocriticism

Laurin brings over six years of experience as an educator to her role at the Swearer Center. Before coming to Brown, Laurin worked with elementary school students in Haute Savoie, France, and later in and Cambridge, M.A. She is currently a Teaching Assistant at Brown University and a tutor through the Petey Greene Program.
