Annie grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut and received her B.A. in English and Classics from the College of the Holy Cross, where she played violin in the Chamber Orchestra and with Neighborhood Strings. She then moved to Chicago to complete her master's in the humanities at the University of Chicago. After graduating, she worked as a Program Mentor for the M.A. Program in the Humanities and taught writing to undergraduates. Annie is excited to bring her love of humanities and music to the Swearer Center as a communicator.
