Mario Gomez (he/him) joined the Swearer Center after 13 years working in different capacities with non-profit organizations, especially with theaters and other cultural organizations, in Seattle and New England. Mario has also had the opportunity to work and teach in 5 continents.

Mario brings a dedication to creating an equitable, inclusive, and accessible society. Mario has worked with and led organizations that center and are led by communities that have historically been excluded in our society. Mario is also a member of the 2021/2022 BIPOC Leadership Circle organized and led by artsEquity and Yale, which bring BIPOC leaders from cultural organizations across North America to develop strategies and models for equitable and sustainable practices.
