As the Operations & Events Coordinator for the Swearer Center of Public Service at Brown University, Samani supports a portfolio of Center programs and helps maintain and improve the Center’s policies and processes as a key member of the Operations team. She contributes to and coordinates center-wide event planning efforts.

Samani was born in Portland, OR, and raised between the Pacific Northwest and Rhode Island. Prior to Brown, she worked for Barrington Public Schools at the Barrington Middle School Library. Samani is locally engaged through the Rhode Island Center for the Book serving on their Development Committee. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Communications.
