As the Department Manager of the Swearer Center, Asia manages the daily operations of the Center and stewards key campus relationships to support the operational success of the Center. Asia contributes leadership and strategic thinking in designing and operationalizing key processes related to financial management, student engagement and programming, and community partner engagement with strong attention to equity and inclusivity.

Raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, Asia proudly served with City Year AmeriCorps in Providence from 2015-2016 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Science and Astronomy. Asia is passionate about her faith and is actively engaged in her church community in the greater Providence area where she held several roles including being a mentor to young women. Asia is currently pursuing her Master's in Social Work at Rhode Island College in hopes of continuing to build toward a just society for all. Asia employs a macro lens with a focus on nonprofit leadership and a commitment to equity in education and learning opportunities, policy, and financial stewardship.
