A Brown graduate and Providence resident since 1998, Jori brings to the Engaged Scholars Program a wide range of experience as a project director, educator, curator, and documentarian. She has collaborated extensively with organizations such as AS220, Community MusicWorks, The Harvard School of Public Health, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, New Urban Arts, The Point CDC, Providence Community Libraries, the RISD Museum, and others. Jori also runs 186 Carpenter, a storefront and office space that presents arts programming and current events on the West Side of Providence, and she plays bass drum in the What Cheer? Brigade, a 20+ member brass/punk band.
