Hello everyone! I'm Danielle Emerson (preferably called Dan). I'm from Shiprock, NM. I've spent a majority of my life on the Navajo Nation and look forward to spending the next four years at Brown. I plan on concentrating in psychology and literary arts (however I'm still unsure). I hope to one day return home and help better the quality of mental health care on the Navajo reservation. I also love creative writing and musical theatre. I usually spend my leisure time working on various fiction projects, reading, watching bootlegs on YouTube, and dancing to my favorite Broadway Cast recordings.
