Community Partner Site: Winter Break Providence

I am a Junior at Brown studying Neuroscience and Applied Math. I was the Site Leader for Winter Break Providence this year, a week-long program where a group of students gets the opportunity to live downtown and learn from members of the Providence community. I am also the Project Manager at Clínica Esperanza/Hope Clinic, a member of the Undergraduate Council of Students, and a Chemistry Teaching Assistant.

How has Bonner impacted your time at Brown? The Bonner program provided me the training and resources I needed to be an effective leader of Winter Break Providence, and has allowed me to become a member of a community of like-minded community-oriented Brown students.
