I’m a proud first-generation college student from Fargo, North Dakota, who is interested in studying psychology within the context of human health and disease. I dream to pursue a career in the healthcare industry to help heal others. In my free time, I love painting, listening to Ted talks, and connecting with friends and family.

How has Bonner impacted your time at Brown? My Bonner experience has taught me the value of communication and the importance of sustainable community engagement. Bonner has also changed my perspective of service-related work. I don’t see volunteer work as a chore, because volunteering is much more than that. It helps both the person who needs the resources and the person who does the work. I’m learning how to put other’s needs before my own and how to balance academic and personal responsibilities. Bonner helped me transition from high school to university by providing me opportunities to meet friends and to really see the Providence community outside of Brown.
