Internship Placement: Partnership for Public Service 

Evelyn Santos is a rising senior at Brown University double-concentrating in Public Policy and Literary Arts. She is especially interested in social policies and employment policies on the local and national levels. She has mainly worked on policy implementation in Rhode Island, where she has interned at nonprofits such as the Opportunities Industrialization Center of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless. Last year, Evelyn spent seven months interning at the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights- a federally funded agency which seeks to resolve discriminatory practices and claims in the state. On campus, Evelyn was selected for and has served on the Financial Aid Advisory Board for three years. She has had several other on-campus jobs and hopes to enter the workforce upon graduation.
