Internship Placement: Bipartisan Policy Center 

Katherine Hancock is a rising senior at Brown University. She is double concentrating in Public Policy and Applied Mathematics and Economics. She serves as a research assistant in the Public Policy department, where she is an academic tutor for the Dean of the College for Applied Mathematics courses, and as one of three leaders of the Public Policy Undergraduate Department. In the past, Katie has received funding from Brown for a research project focused on public education in Ohio (her home state), has been elected to serve upon the philanthropy committee of the Joyce Ivy Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping low-income girls from the Midwest attend highly-selective universities. She has also worked as a community organizing intern for a women's health non-profit organization. In her free time, Katie enjoys tap dancing with Brown's sole tap team and reading any book recommended to her.
