Naomy Pedroza is a rising junior at Brown University concentrating in Political Science with a focus on American Politics. Growing up in Nevada, a state ranked #49 in public education, Naomy is interested in education policy and ensuring that every person, especially low-income minorities, have access to quality education and opportunities free from discrimination. Previously, Naomy worked at the United States Senate as a Democratic Page and most recently interned for Aaron Regunberg, who is running for Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island. At Brown, she is a founding member of the Brown Progressive Action Committee and works for B-Side music magazine, the Brown Annual Fund and the school yearbook. In her free time, Naomy enjoys portrait photography, going outdoors, making puns and petting cats.
