Alexa Enríquez is a Senior at Brown University concentrating in Public Policy with a focus on urban policies. Her interests lie in issues relating to have immigration rights, education policy, and criminal justice policy. In the past, Alexa has interned at the U.S. Department of the Treasury under the Office of the Chief of Staff, working directly with the Secretary of the Treasury. At Brown, Alexa has taken interdisciplinary courses including: Immigration: The Imaginaries of Race, Space, and Nation, Management of Industrial and Nonprofit Organizations, Latinos in the U.S., Crime in the City, and she studied abroad in Barcelona for a semester. She is a member of Women in Business, Fashion at Brown, La Alianza Latina, and volunteers at Carl Lauro Elementary School with Inspiring Minds. On her spare time, Alexa she enjoys swimming in the Arizona heat, where she was born and raised, and baking new dessert recipes.
