Sabrina Whitfill is a senior at Brown University, where she studies Classics and Public Policy with a focus in education policy. She is particularly interested in studying the role of race and language in classrooms. Outside of the academic space, she is interested in exploring policy and advocacy through the lens of her own identity as a multiracial Asian American woman. She is an active member of the Brown Asian Sisters Empowered organization, Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Mixed Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Student Heritage, and the Asian American Political Alliance. She spent this past summer interning at the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans, where she worked on fighting misconceptions surrounding affirmative action. She is excited to explore another dimension of political change during her semester in Washington, DC.
