Combining research on Iceland’s genomic, sociological and geographic idiosyncrasies with analogous visual structures, Adam will explore the effects of isolation on Icelandic culture by producing a short documentary. The visual narrative – composed of macro photography, drone footage and animation – will be informed by interviews with academics, sound-bites from citizens and natural sounds of the environment.
