Veiled Debated: European Union and French Anti-Discrimination Policy and the Lyonnais North African Immigrant Community

Alexandra looked at French and European Union integration and anti-discrimination policies. She examined how the the Lyonnais North Arica community perceives these policies and their position in French society. She focused on the EU policy development, and the interaction between EU policy and existing French anti-discrimination and integration laws.

Alex is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Yale University. Prior to coming to Yale, she worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs and as a research assistant at the Forced Migration and Refugee Studies Program at the American University in Cairo.
