Faculty Sponsor: Bhrigupati Singh

Using ethnographic methods, Ayane explored the factors that affect low-skilled migrant workers daily experiences of mobility in Singapore’s urban context. Ayane hoped to understand the ways migrant workers enter and claim spaces, and to chronicle their perceptions of such experiences. Ayane also worked with HealthServe, an NGO that provides health and legal services and a digital community database of resources to the migrant worker community.

Ayane is currently the Project Officer at ACTED.
