Blaine explored the current balance between environmental protection policy and recreational land use policies. She focused specifically on current land use in Yellowstone National Park and the efficacy of applying a cost benefit analysis model to questions of public access and land protection.

She is currently the Geologist at KIMMERIDGE ENERGY LTD. Previously, she was the Geologist and Geological Technician at Bill Barrett Corporation.
