Role of FGF2 in Alzheimer's Disease

The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) contains several growth factors which have various metabolic functions in the brain. Of particular interest to Eddie is the role of basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF2) in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Eddie determined if the excess FGC2 exacerbates AD pathology.

Eddie is currently the Resident Physician in General Surgery of Temple University Hospital. In 2014, Eddie completed his M.D. at Duke University School of Medicine and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Health Services and Outcomes Research at Northwestern University.
