Edward will develop the prototype for an open-source, online voting system inspired by Bitcoin in an effort to address existing security concerns in the voting process. Research suggests that there is demand for such a system, particularly in technologically progressive governments. The tangible benefits include decreased administrative costs, improved accessibility and increased civic participation.
