Ellise surveyed and interviewed sports nutritionists, professional athletes and national team members in the US and England to understand how elite athletes cope with food allergies. Ellise aimed to better understand how dietary restrictions impact athletic performance and how improvements in the field of sports nutrition are helping with early identification and treatment of food related allergies.
