Irene will collaborate with a research partner in Mexico to gather oral histories of the 1968 Mexican student movement, La Liga 23 de Septiembre, and an affiliated, historically undocumented guerrilla movement. Her interviews will also capture the activists’ life histories and their impressions of the current student movement in Mexico.
