Assessment of Runoff Quantity and Contamination in the Woonasquatucket River

Faculty Sponsor: Rachel Morello Frosch

Marissa assessed the affect of runoff on the ecosystem of the Woonasquatucket River in Rhode Island. The Woonasquatucket has become central to the Providence renaissance and its restoration is perceived as pivotal to the revitalization of the city. Her work elaborated on current conservation efforts and aimed to inform future development.

After graduating from Brown Marissa returned to dance and has been performing with many choreographers in the Boston area, including Daniel McCusker, Sara Smith, and Yo-el Cassell. She was the Administrative Assistant at Boston Dance Alliance. Currently, she is the dancer at Ruckus Dance and Anna Myer and Dancers, and she is serving as the Consultant at Cultural Capital Arts.
