Motherist Movements and Feminism in El Salvador

Megan examined the motherist movement initiated by the CO-MADRES, a women's organization formed in El Salvador in the late 1970s, and its influence on current-day feminism in El Salvador.

After graduating from Brown, Megan earned a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School with a concentration in Women, Gender, Sexuality and Religion and began a Ph.D. program in Rhetoric at Berkeley with a Designated Emphasis in both Film and Women's Studies.
