Paul will examine the significance of national monuments through a series of essays and plays about America's commemorative icons and traditions. He will work with the National Park Service and will research several historical sites - the Statue of Liberty, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, and the Arlington National Cemetery - with regard to architecture and artistic intent.

Paul wrote Warfare; Power of Sail; Dog Park; and Radio Free Emerson (Winner: 2008 Elliot Norton Award from the Boston Theater Critics Association for Outstanding New Script). His play Manuscript was produced Off-Broadway by Daryl Roth and Scott Rudin in the summer of 2005. Paul was a member of Los Angeles' Taper/Center Theatre Group's Writer's Workshop for 2007-2008. His television credits include: Revolution, Terra Nova and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Nominee: 2008 Edgar Award for Best Television Episode Teleplay for his episode "Streetwise"). Paul lives in Los Angeles.
