Shawn created a short book and an accompanying radio piece about the life of the mime Marcel Marceau. She strung together invented fictions, creative nonfiction and interviews with those who knew Marceau.
Shawn is a Producer at WUNC-FM 91.5FM North Carolina Public Radio. Prior to that Shawn was an associate producer with Optomen Television and a CBS News Desk Associate. She is also a freelance writer.
