Stefania will use the emergent field of digital public humanities to archive and disseminate the work of students at Young Chicago Authors, a nonprofit youth arts organization on Chicago’s north side. Stefania will investigate how these young artists are speaking out about the structural violence inherent to their urban experience as well as contributing to the Chicago literary tradition.
