Cultural Assimilation of Russians in Harbin, China via the Medium of Poetry

Susannah organized, translated and interpreted the corpus of poetry produced by Russians living in northern China at the beginning of the 20th century. Her knowledge of Chinese and Russian, along with childhood experiences as a foreigner in China, informed the particular perspective of the interpretation of poetry.

After graduating from Brown, Susannah moved to Hangzhou, China to be an 8th grade teacher at Hangzhou Dongfang Middle School. She is currently the Analyst at J Capital Research.
