Faculty Sponsor: Catherine Lutz

Theresa researched the long-term effects of colonization and militarization on the islands of Guam and Saipan. She compiled her research on the effects of militarization into a resource for locals and outsiders to advocate against military abuse, create community awareness and promote public policy change.

Theresa received her M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Anthropology at the University of California at Los Angeles.
