Advocates for Inclusivity

The Third World Liberation Front (TWLF) represented a collective of students that demanded the implementation of a more inclusive curriculum into their universities. This led to the development of Ethnic Studies: the study of race, ethnicity, and indigeneity. While the interdiscipline underscored the experiences of people of color, it was inaccessible to the marginalized communities centered in these conversations. As part of this project, Zeinab will work with educators in Providence schools and Brown students to develop partnerships for the implementation of an Ethnic Studies curriculum across educational contexts.
