Sam Cai is a member of the class of 2020 studying economics and international relations. His primary academic interest is understanding the first and second order effects of health policy and infrastructure at a local and community level. He enjoys nonfiction essay writing and photography. He is the executive director of Brown’s chapter of GlobeMed, which supports a girl's mentoring program for sex education, financial literacy, and empowerment in Nairobi, Kenya. Outside of academics, Sam enjoys playing piano, ukulele, and tennis.
