The Brown Venture Launch Fund (BVLF) helps student entrepreneurs develop innovative ideas into new ventures through three levels of progressively increasing funding using a gated award system.

The Edward Guiliano '72 Global Fellowship seeks to provide undergraduate students with transformative opportunities to broaden their perspectives and interact with the world through artistic, academic and cultural experiences outside their current communities.

The John Hay Library Undergraduate Fellowship Program supports original research using the special collections at the John Hay Library. Over eight weeks each summer, a cohort of students build research skills using primary sources to develop an original project.

Each spring, four to six Brown sophomores are selected as Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellows. Starting in the summer after their sophomore year, students receive two years of financial support to conduct research and participate in other activities as part of a community of scholars.

The purpose of the NAISI student research and internship funding is to support Brown University undergraduate or graduate students conducting academic research projects or participating in experiential learning opportunities related to Native American and Indigenous Studies.

The Presidential Scholars Program attracts high-achieving and creative students to Brown. The program provides a foundation for the scholars to expand their intellectual curiosity through research innovation, academic mentorship, leadership development, community engagement, social experiences and university resources.

Every spring, up to twenty Brown undergraduates receive a Royce Fellowship of up to $4,000 to pursue research, curricular development, or public service projects.

Each spring the Saxena Center offers Brown undergraduates summer funding to facilitate research for a senior thesis or to provide internship experience with an academic or civil society organization.

The Summer Research Early Identification Program (SR-EIP) funds summer internships for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who plan to pursue a Ph.D. in the biomedical and physical sciences, engineering, social sciences or humanities.

This annual prize recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional sophistication and originality in research initiatives.

SPRINT Undergraduate Teaching and Research Awards (SPRINT|UTRAs) support Brown students collaborating with Brown faculty on research and teaching projects during the summer or the academic year. Named for the dean who launched the program in the 1980s, SPRINT|UTRAs provide students with valuable academic experience that prepares them for graduate study and that contributes directly to course development at Brown.
