The Contemplative Studies Initiative is a group of Brown faculty and students with diverse academic specializations who are united around a common interest in the study and application of contemplative states of mind.

Contemplative Studies Concentration

The Concentration in Contemplative Studies investigates the underlying philosophical, psychological, and scientific bases of human contemplative experience.

The Brown University Alpert School of Medicine, through its Scholarly Concentrations Program, offers a path for medical students to integrate contemplative studies with the traditional medical curriculum.
