"I came to Brown interested in studying consciousness and perception. Contemplative Studies has provided me with the oppurtunity to investigate the mind and world in a way that no other department could. Combining first and third person perspectives has allowed me to focus in on the intersection between religion, philosophy, neuroscience, and cognitive science. This interdisciplinary approach  unique to Contemplative Studies continues to challenge my assumptions and deepen my understanding of the mind every day. I also recently started working for Contemplative Studies as Computer Chair!"
