Library Resource Guides

Staff of the Brown University LibraryJohn Hay Library (Photo by Arjun Narayen for the Brown Daily Herald, 2014) have developed specialized resource guides for Early Cultures and related subjects.  These guides primarily comprise links to and descriptions of relevant databases, including compilations of journal articles, additional library resources within and outside Brown University, and reference texts.

Brown's libraries themselves are resources, as well, notable both as places to study and research (the Grand Reading Room of the John Hay Library is pictured on this page) and for their extensive collections of not only books but also art, artifacts, and documents of historical significance.  Additional details on many of these objects can be found on the Ancient Collections at Brown pages of this website.
