Shakespeare studies


Christopher Dennis serves as Deputy Dean of the College. Prior to arriving at Brown in the summer of 2013, he held administrative appointments as Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education at Temple University and as Executive Director of College House Programs at Penn. He received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, M.A. from Oxford University, and Ph.D. from Princeton University. His academic training is in Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and he has taught literature and writing at Princeton, Michigan, Penn, the University of London and Temple University, where he taught in the Intellectual Heritage Program, the English department, and the Honors Program, specializing in courses on Shakespeare and Shakespeare and film.
