Biography

Christopher Yates graduated from Cornell University in 2014 and is enrolled in the English Ph.D. program at Brown. His research and writing center on questions of a generation — economic, sexual, and linguistic — and the circulation of these resources in the English body politic. He is particularly interested in the themes of lineage and potency in Shakespeare's history plays, as well as the urban and social dimensions of Jacobean city comedy.
