Biography

Dandan Xu studies the visual and material culture of Late Imperial China in the Department of History of Art and Architecture. She received her M.A. in East Asian Art at the University of Kansas in May 2020, where she began her art history journey. Before embarking on her journey of art history, she earned her doctoral degree in Chinese literature at Fudan University in China in 2017
