The Transfer of Skills from Spanish to English: A Study of Young Learner
This full report from 2002 presents the research findings of August, Calderon, and Carlo from their study of elementary students in El Paso, Boston, and Chicago. The authors "examined how performance on indicators of Spanish reading at the end of second grade predicted English reading performance at the end of the third grade."
