Brown Education Alumna Cadence Willse, UEP '13, has been named one of the two inaugural Graduate Fellows in Community Engaged Scholarship by the Swearer Center. The Swearer Center created the fellowship to bring graduate students into the Center’s collaborative and cross-disciplinary research environment. Willse, a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science, is currently working on her dissertation, "Battling Budget Cuts: Interest Group Mobilization in Public Education."
